Honey Garlic Pork Chops
Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops (or bone-in, if preferred)
2 tablespoons Rub it Up Honey Garlic Blend
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce (optional for extra umami flavor)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional, for a touch of acidity)
1 tablespoon honey (to balance sweetness)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
1. Prepare the pork chops:
2. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them sear better in the pan.
3. Season both sides of the pork chops with a pinch of salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of the honey garlic seasoning.
Make the glaze:
-
In a small bowl, mix together the honey garlic seasoning, honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar (if using). Stir well to combine. The glaze should be thick and aromatic.
Cook the pork chops:
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops to the skillet. Sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they're golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F / 63°C).
Glaze the pork chops:
-
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour the honey garlic glaze over the cooked pork chops.
-
Allow the sauce to bubble and thicken for about 2-3 minutes, turning the pork chops occasionally to coat them in the glaze.
Serve:
-
Once the pork chops are nicely glazed and cooked through, remove them from the skillet.
-
Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions if desired.
-
Serve immediately with sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.
